Yeepee? - this word mean yes?

It's often spelled yippee, it's an exclamation of joy or delight, somewhat like "Yahoo!" or "Yeah!".

Hi dimproject, :)

I pushed the Russian translation I found in transifex last night before doing the RC1 release. Is it ok with this one or shall use the one given here?

Best regards,

String "Leg" appear in 2 places.
In fist place I translated "Leg" as reduced word from "Legs".
In second place "Leg" as word "Leg", but showing reduced word from "Legs".
Also I have no idea why some sign always showing at Bronann.

Hi dimproject,

First of all, thanks a lot for all the bug reports :D
I'll will deal with all that asap.

As for the word Legs vs Leg, I'll need to add contextual translations to both.
Yet, it would break the current translation for any language.

I'll do it anyway since it should be fixed asap before release but i wanted you guys to know about it.

Best regards,

Hey, actually I'm very busy but I hope to finish my translation tomorrow.
Could you wait one more day before the release, please? Thanks

Hi BioHazardX, :)

Don't worry, I still have a few things to fix before the release, and I may even need to do a RC2. ;)

Thanks for the translation!

Best regards,

I've replaced the texts with icons on master. I'll work on the other bugs (such as the crash.)
I've also added the missing translations authors on the intro credits.

Hi all, :)

After some time thinking about how to improve the game's beginning, I'm ok with changing two things in the Layna village, as proposed by c_xong here: viewtopic.php?f=76&t=5711 but also requested by a lot of people before that.

What would be added is:
- Add an optional mini-quest where you have to beat a few monsters in the village's well.
- Make the hide'n'seek quest optional by ending it if you ask Kalya to fetch Orlinn for you. I'd thus add a reward if you do it yourself.

The thing is: This would add a few sentences and change a few existing ones. Would you agree to cover that one more time before release?

Thanks in advance for your answers and best regards,

Hi guys,

Thanks a lot for the translation updates. They are online. :)
I've also synced back the Italian and Galician translation back on transifex.

Have you got a Transifex account, BioHazardx?

Only German, Spanish and Portuguese translation left! :D

Hi Bertram,

I've started to proofread the French translation on Transifex.
There are some strings that I would like to discuss with you, since you're the original content writer and you're French, you might have a precise idea of how some things should be phrased and translated.

Since there are a lot of strings, I would propose the following workflow: I complete my proofreading as I see fit, and then we look together at the diff and revert/fix some of my changes (with a pull request on github maybe?). Then I can change back the reverted/fixed strings in Transifex.

Np. It's always good to get some review from someone else. Just go ahead, we'll be able to discuss all that afterwards. :)

here is a small update (correction) of the de.op file.

Hi NemesisDD, thaks a lot for the corrections. Would you be interested in becoming co-translator/maintainer for the german translation?

@Bertram, have the fixes by NemesisDD been pushed already?

@Bertram, have the fixes by NemesisDD been pushed already?

Nope, not seen anything yet. Btw, have you got a transifex account?

Oh, almost forgot. In mt_elbrus_shrine_stairs_script.lua:473 is a minor typo I think:
"I feel better much now..." -> "I feel much better now..."

Ok, I've added you as German coordinator.

I've also fixed the sentence in master and I will update the pot file this evening.

I noticed there are two languages requests on Transifex for Valyria Tear.

Since I have some experience with Transifex (since we use it for Mageia on https://www.transifex.com/projects/p/mageia/ ), I just wanted to give you a piece of advice. If you want your community to be somewhat manageable, you should add in the project description a mention that translators should come and say hello on the forum (at least when adding a new language for them), so that you can be in touch with maintainers and get feedback. For teams where there are already experienced contributors, you can let them organise themselves as they want.

That's what we _would like_ to have on Mageia, how strong the policy should be is still being discussed. But we've experienced that blindly accepting everyone brings mostly inactive contributors, and then it's hard know who's really doing something for the project. Some Transifex users just seem to randomly join projects but do not contribute at all.

Another piece of advice for Transifex, you might want to use the transifex-client CLI to retrieve/pull translations to Transifex. If you do it directly in your git tree, you can then git push/pull directly.

IIRC you are using Debian? transifex-client seems to be in the repos: https://packages.debian.org/search?sear ... fex-client
Some documentation about it: http://docs.transifex.com/developer/client/

Basically, the needed configuration would be to create a .tx/config file in the po folder with this content:
{l Code}: {l Select All Code}
[main]
host = https://www.transifex.com

[valyria-tear.valyriatearpot]
file_filter = <lang>.po
source_file = valyriatear.pot
source_lang = en
type = PO

You would also need to create a ~/.transifexrc file with your credentials so that you can (if need be) have write access to the repo:
{l Code}: {l Select All Code}
[https://www.transifex.com]
hostname = https://www.transifex.com
password = <passwordgoeshere>
token =
username = <usernamegoeshere>

That's valid for other translators btw, but it's especially useful for repo maintainers :-)
