Hi Biohazard,

Thanks for the po update :)

Yiek is not an actual word, just a weird onomatopoeia of my own. It's some kind of signature for that character ;)

I've looked into adding contextual translation and it's doable. I just need to update the dependency package for windows compilers around first.

Best regards,

Hi everyone,

Just came to say that I added contextual translation support along with c-formatted string support (string with %s, %u, ...)

Please note that the contextual strings are like this:
{l Code}: {l Select All Code}
context|text

Please leave the "context|" part untranslated in your language, and translate only the text part.
I did that way since there is no official pgettext() support on windows and I wanted a common way to handle it.

The 'Arm' contextual problem in Italian should be solvable now.

Translation update. There is a line where I have to check the context(lol), but should be ok I think.

It's just a start, the translation needs a lot of work but I hope to be able to provide a few periodic commits with increased number of translated strings.

Another bigger update. I've noticed quite a few new objects that want to be translated :)

On a side note. I've been replaying VT again and got to the cave without really keeping an eye on my items. What followed was rather cruelsome. The bats butchered me as I was completely out of potions, and there was no way to avoid the fights while running for my life, and none of the enemies would drop anything either.

Funny... Were you completely stuck or were you at least able to fight once or two times and head back to the save point?

After the first two encounters with the bats, I decided to head for the exit, but didn't make it, had to reload last save. Maybe my level was just too low? It might be interesting to see if it is possible to get from one save point to next without any items in general and at what minimum exp level.

Already did! :)

From first to second: lvl 6
From second to third: lvl 8-9
From third to fourth: lvl 10

EDIT: I'm already reassured you could handle at least one or two fights, meaning that you can still level up and gain items.
