Hi guys, updating translation atm, run into a few ninja references. Don't know why, but it feels a bit out of place for me.

How about using something less "loaded" like scout, ranger or maybe shrine maiden (female).

I heard the first female ninjas have been miko (shrine maiden). So there would be a connection to possible special training (ninja like skills).

Hi NaN, :)

"A few" ninja references. I've used the word "ninja", yes, but I fail to get the other references. Could you tell me?

Let's go with ranger, then.

Thanks for pointing out!

Oh, "Haste Potion" in items.lua:489 has got a copy/paste bug "Gives a reasonable boost in strength to an ally for a large amount of time."

Next update is ready!

ps:
There are a few technical bits untranslated in the credits. Haven't decided yet whether I'll stick with Anglicisms or do a full translation.

You know what's the best about what to translate and how. I trust upon what you'll do with credits.

Better try to avoid Anglicism. This is good for any not English language.

I fixed some translations.

It's pushed thanks. :)

As for Anglicism, in a perfect world, there are none, indeed.
AFAIK, even in France, we ourselves use english words for notions not very well spread as french words. Like: Tileset, sprites, for instance.

For all translators,

The game is in its final line before release and should already be playable for 99% of it on github.

There is something like 10-15 sentences left to add before release, plus maybe a few ones corresponding to fixes in the episode I ending credits.
IMHO, I do think you can start the language full review if you're willing to, of course. :)

I'm also taking the opportunity to say that, after the release, I'll be working at integrating the translation queue into transifex, and defunc launchpad, which is not fitting the task.

The newest texts are in the box now, and the credits have been updated. So it should be ok to move on now.

Hi dimproject, :)

I'm in the process of updating the pot file and translating the game to 100% french atm.
Once it is done, you'll find all the po files ready on github.

Afterward, and hopefully soon, I'll be in the process of adding transifex translation management and defunc the launchpad one.

Hi again,

The transifex project is live:
https://www.transifex.com/projects/p/valyria-tear/

To each language master o' sentences, please tell me about you usernames there and I'll make you coordinators of the corresponding language (if I can find how to do it. ;])
You can also propose words to add to the glossary. :)

Also registered, please add Knitter to the Portuguese PT translators. I'll move my pending changes to transifex when I get some vacations (wishing for it doesn't seem to make them happen though :) ).

It's sad that Transifex stopped being open source, but it stays one of the best community tools out there (a bit like github...).

Hi there, :D

Ok, I added:
- Dimproject as Russian coordinator,
- Akien as French proof-reader
and
- Knitter as Portuguese (Portugal) coordinator.

Launchpad should be defunc now.
