This is actually a Cube 2 question, not sure if the same problem exists in Red Eclipse but if it does I wanted to know how to fix it there as well. I figured some folks experienced in Cube 2 had to be floating around here somewhere.
So I have a folder in packages/base called cubicmatter. They were an old mapping clan for Cube 2. I collected their stuff and now I want to access it from the GUI of the game rather than try to memorize the name of every map and load it manually. I found a scrip that should have helped but it couldn't see the maps in my custom directory. Sandbox can, so I know Cube 2 and Red Eclipse have the ability to.
I just want some way, a Cubic Matter tab or something, where I can see all the maps through the GUI in my cubicmatter directory. I want the same for any other map collections I stash there. Even if you can only tell me how to do this for Red Eclipse it should at least set me on the right path to doing it for Cube 2.
Man I wish the developers had simply added a command, some easy way to set custom directories for everything and have the game auto-load stuff. Like what you could do in the Unreal game series .ini files. Makes it much easier to work with custom files!
Appreciate the help!
