I want to connect to our Clan's IRC channel through the console via my autoexec.cfg file... so I did the usual:

ircaddclient freenode irc.freenode.net 6667 JDWhyte
ircaddchan freenode #doomclan

But is there a way to put my password in automatically? I'm registered on freenode, and it won't let me use my screenname but rather just adds an underscore after my name. Thanks for your help guys... lol

Nevermind... Got It.... so if anyone else wonders how to do this it is done by:

ircaddclient network network.address.net PORT# nick ircpass passwordhere
ircaddchan network #IRCroom

or just do /showgui irc
