Hey Frosty here, and I have a weird problem which I hope can be resolved. When I play Red Eclipse my FPS is very very low. I can turn off all my settings. but nothing changes. For now I basically use the best graphic settings for now, because that's what I'm used to, and I don't really have FPS problems otherwise. But while going in edit mode, the video is smooth like it should be. When I am in player mode, my FPS is around 5-30, and in edit mode it almost is always locked at 200 since I leave my maxfps setting at default.
I also took two screenshots to show what I mean. All that seems to be different is that the hudguns are gone and the hud icons in the bottom right aren't there in edit mode. Not to mention my FOV is higher in edit mode. If someone could help me I would really appreciate it!

What OS? Build? Hardware specs? Please list these and we will be able to help you further.

BTW the command to switch off the HUD is /showhud 0 ^^

Yeah we are going to need PC specs.

Don't really know what to think other then it could be your hardware if you are using onboard graphics or something of that sort.

Strange situation though, because I get 200 FPS while playing but in menus I get low FPS (like in the vote map menu and stuff) - kind of the opposite of your experience.

Are you using Nvidia/Intel? I am using ATI/AMD.

Well in the past it has worked for me, even with games that require even better hardware than this. Anyways here are my specs.

OS: Win7 Home Premium 64-bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q8200 @2.33GHz (4 CPUs)
Memory: 8.2 GB RAM
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 6500 Series

I think that's all there is. However I have been running it from a USB which might be problem. Also now when I try running it on my desktop instead of from the USB (same computer) I get this annoying graphical problem again. It has to do with mainly liquid entities like lava/water.

Perhaps it is your graphics card or that you are using AMD/ATI with Intel (sometimes issues can occur when mixing hardware like this, sometimes not though).

I don't really know what the issue is - try installing 1.3.1 full into a new folder if updating your video drivers doesn't help - then see if that works.
