hey guys im having and issue with this latest version of red i cant seem to play online.......... i can only play offline........i try updating my servers still no hope......i just figure that i may just have to get the older version back can i get some HELP PLEASEEEEEEEEEE

Hi, all that is happening is that most of the servers have not updated to 1.3 just yet, if you go back to the old version you will soon have the same problem only with outdated servers, just give them a moment too catch up!

Is that really the reason ? Because many servers where updated already when grahikkid posted his problem.

hey i just downloaded red v1.3 again and i still cant play online im seeing all (servers are unresponsive)........... i never had this problem with red v1.2 (cosmic edition) what can be done

A lot of people had this problem at first, again, a lot of servers have still not updated. Restart RE(if you haven't already). If that is not it, check your internet's router settings, disconnect and reconnect from your Internet, and try again.

my computer details system (microsoft xp) media center edition,version 2002,service pack 2, t2300 @1.66ghz 1.66ghz, 0.99gb of ram

1.66GHz and barely 1 GB of ram isn't incredibly great.

Service pack 2? Isn't there a Service pack 3 for Win XP?
Try windows update...

Try backing up and removing the contents of "My Documents\My Games\Red Eclipse". Make sure you have a fresh install of the game (clean out any cruft that you may have gotten from previous versions). Note: You need to wait a while before the server list fully updates.

TBH, one GB of ram is frankly terrible, even for a hardwaresavvy game like Red Eclipse.

No, but it will massively improve FPS and such, and if graphikkid ever plays any other fairly recent PC games, he will very much appreciate having extra RAM. It's a wonder he even gets decent FPS(or does he?) with 1 GB. Just being truthful

yea ballistics my fps game play was great on red v1.2 the only map i couldnt really play was forge my fps was abit low...but all in all i played great on there no issues.

Have you tested removing the user data as qreeves suggested?

Have you tested connecting manually

Have you made sure no firewall is interfering with the new 1.3.1 executable?

yea i did all that...........i will just wait a month or two before downloading this game again... to make sure the servers are there

I don't get any issues, there must be a problem on your end.

Make sure that you have patched your 1.3 install to 1.3.1...
