Hi all,

recently I get that message from the Subject when I try to start RE. After rebooting my PC it works fine again, but I wonder what causes that. Some RAM issue maybe? Win XP SP3, 512MB RAM
Some idea to solve that without rebooting would be appreciated.

I'm not really sure what the issue is but I would have to guess that its ram. 512mb is very little. i'd recommend geting at least 1gb ram, 4gb if you want to play games.

yes after closing some ram leeching background apps the error disappeared.
Btw, RE runs with 40-60 fps (kinda downscaled settings) on my system, very friendly to slow and old hardware

nice. i like how it doesn't use much ram compared to other games.
