[Map] Level (beta)

Hi Guys,

This is the Beta version of Level
(sorry: excuse my possible English errors)
This is the first version of the map Level. I have the feeling that these map can be great.

Please post improvements for versoin 1.1 of arenay, I like to improve it. Thx :) Or if you like to finish it with me. :)

Your skill in map creating increased . This is good . And like i say before on server- this map look cool . I like it .

Excellent. This is a lot like Duality, but with better gameplay: more parkour and cover, less cramped, and less camping. The Rocket is also satisfyingly hard to get. Maybe this could replace it? Although if it does, I'd still like to see the snow. That was Duality's real perk.

Thank you for your reply. Yeah a little bit like dutility. I think its good, that its hard to get the rocket because this will make dulls harder.

Do you know some more improvements for 1.0?

These I all ready know:
+Better corners near both start platforms
+Better lights
+Better textures

I agree that this map shows a big improvement in your map design. The texturing follows a consistent theme and the lighting is nice. Overall it would make a nice alternative to dutility with more parkour opportunities, although you could try to make the layout a bit more different.

EDIT: Having played it a bit in DM against bots, it does feel quite different to dutility and less linear.

I like the map as well, it's nice and feels familiar because it looks like a revamped dutility indeed. The layout is better though, I think this plays better than dutility.

Some suggestions:
There is a lot of neon being used in a dark setting, which makes the contrast really high. A little bit too high imo, but it looks nice overall.
The skybox has been used in many RE space maps already. Maybe a brighter skybox could give your map a more unique look and it might make the neon lights less intrusive.
