Sounds like you're pushing for a "Resident Evil" mode in RE.

I honestly don't really think this would fit RE, plus there are plenty of other zombie games out there in this day and age, some mainstream, some not.

Zombie mod for counterstrike source does a lot of what you mentioned though, you should try that frojo.
