[Map] Temples (beta)

Hi Guys,

This is the Beta version of temples
(sorry: excuse my possible english errors)
This is another version of the map temple http://forum.freegamedev.net/viewtopic.php?f=73&t=3274
Temple the first version have one temple, this map got 4 temples, one for every single color.

Please post improvements for versoin 1.1 of temples, I like to improve it. Thx :)

Installation to Red Eclipse:
put all files to the following folder:
in Windows: Username\My Documents\My Games\Red Eclipse\maps
in Mac OS:/Users/<name>/Library/Application Support/redeclipse
in Linux: ~/.redeclipse

I like the concept and scenery, especially the outdoor areas, so I would like to leave a few comments.

  • Some of the above screenshots are bit large... what about using thumbnails for all of them?
  • The playerstarts between neighboring temples are a bit close, 8 playerstarts per team on the far squares should be enough. What do you think?
  • The exterior environment has plenty of detail, which is nice, but some of the height-map looks bumpy, so you may want to smoothen some of the spiky hills.
  • The death material on the flames can be an annoyance.
  • Some tunnels connecting the temples might be nice.
  • What about removing the waterfall? It looks artificial and breaks the symmetry, giving an advantage to the green base.
  • Don't forget to add a note about licensing :sa:

Thanks for your replay I will use that for the release. 8 Players is from a concept of a team and multi play so 8 is a good number i mean :)

Just to clarify my comment regarding 8 playerstarts per team: Each "s" stands for a square with 4 spawnpoints to keep, "x" for one with spawns that you could remove.
