So finally I decided to create a post in which it would be all about the time-trial .
In first post you can see all maps that i have . In a future i will post all of them .
In second post you can see videos about time-trial . Runs , tutorials and other ,
And in 3rd post you can see all bests times for all maps .
If you have maps for time-trial or create your map - say me . This may be a bad map - but we can help make it better.
If you have your unfinished projects, and you didn't want them to continue - you can post it here too .
If you have information about maps - say me .
I'm waiting for comments =). I want to know who play in a time-trial here =)
Edit : TO ALL WHO WANT STUDY HOW PLAY IN TIME-TRIAL ! Try to study it on Temkas map Parkour Training . Ii will be a better way ..Also i suggest you try bonifarz's maps - RElax and Tutorial Construct . This a good tutorial maps too .

I build this map in 7 hours . On this map, I experimented with a combination of two types of maps: indoor and space map. Just realized there were some ideas that I wanted for a long time to realize. I think that map turned out not bad.

[i]This has got to be the most fun I have ever had creating a map. Welcome to I Wanna be the Eclipse (IWBTE.) This is currently the hardest Time Trial map in Red Eclipse. The goal is to make it past all the arcade games, and defeat Mike Tyson at the end of the map. Good luck!

This is my first map for Red Eclipse. The map is called Escape and it is made for the time-trial and campaign game modes.
Instructions:
-Move the three files from the folder "Map Escape" into your Red Eclipse maps folder.
-Move the folder "escape" into your Red Eclipse sounds folder.
This map will be part of a 3 part mini singleplayer. I am working on a story to tie the maps together.
This is the first release so I would love to have any feedback. Unless there are any major bugs, this version will be the main version until I can perfect the course.
*The campaign has been tested very little with this release. If you feel like testing it out type /campaign escape. Your bot teammates will not be able to keep up, Use /botlimit 0 for now.

Once i had a idea . How about map for ALL players . For noobs and for PRO players . Interesting huh ? And how about map where you can run without strucking on the boring parts where you must recover energy ? This map special for players who cry about difficulty on my maps =) .
P.S. And i think that map good is only when you can pass it in 20-40 secs . If you need more time - that mean or you a not a pro or this map is bad.

First Red Eclipse community Time-trial maps pack v1.1

Custom Map pack compiled by TristamK, for all who like Time-Trial in game Red Eclipse on 28-07-2013
Most of the maps (70%) in this pack are made by Me, 40-65% of maps by others ppls somehow modified by Me.Also 80% of my maps improved very much and most of bugs fixed

Remember to add the maps to your server config file, if you run a server

Is it necessary to add a Creative Commons license for all maps, or just write here what would they haven't been used without my permission?

You should generally supply a license with all your maps, I won't include any content that isn't licensed, or has a license that is too restrictive.

So how to do that? IDK about licensing and stuff. Google didn't turn up anything useful for me either. I'm a n00b.
It's probably something really easy that only takes 5 minutes and I'm just that clueless.

I think you must add a license file to your map. You can see that in my map Hawk .

And second question - One player from quadpolis say me that i must use lowercase mapnames . Why ?

It really is that easy? Hmm. I'll have to do some more looking around next time I get to my computer.

Lowecase map names with no spaces or punctuation marks in the name makes it so the files are compatible with any operating system's file structure without causing any issues... I think that's right.

Go to http://creativecommons.org/choose/ - All content that is intended to be included in Red Eclipse must allow commercial use and modifications (but you can stipulate others share-alike if you please).

Yes, yes, and yes. You can use whatever license you like though. Creative commons is just designed from the ground up to be easy and legal.

After reading that I think I'm going to take another stab at rejiggering the GFX for corrupt later this month, then licensing it via that tool you just linked to.
Also, this info is very useful for anyone wanting to make an official contribution to Red Eclipse, and it should have its own wiki page.
I still can't edit the wiki, however, because I haven't been given permission yet. NVM thanks Quin.

Well, it's probably impossible to pass Argo in 40 seconds but I really like this map. The same with Heaven, Port. And I can't say that those maps are bad. Other tastes.

This maps good when you play alone or only think about how pass this map . But when you want pass this maps faster that is possible and you play with some players is better when map require 20-40 sec for it.
And now i have ideas how create a map like diesel . but i want did that better .
About hard part on argo - this temka's creation - not me
P.S. That bad when only few players on forum play trial .

Yes licensing your content is an absolute must for going into the map repository as well. please be sure to do it then forward a zipped package with map and license material enclosed in the form of <map name>.txt.
