ok . who delete a light on my map ? -_- Why it was deleted ?!
P.S. Cloudbox look not bad but need blend parameter need changed ...

I've just updated hawk in SVN to fix this issue: http://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/redeclipse/ticket/224

Quin said he did a couple of tweaks when he added the map to SVN, including shrinking the overall size and moving (removing?) lights.

How should the blend parameter be changed specifically? Could you update it based on the current SVN version?

Tristam, try to think in terms of light sources, the yellow railings would probably emit yellow light.

As an observer, I like the look of the left ("0188") image the best.
However I know nothing about what the most efficient use of light would be, you'd have to ask an active mapper, or Quin, about that.

I think the current amount of lights entities are too many. It might be better to simply up the ambient and skylight overall, and add just a large single light inside the starting house (and if there's some other areas that's a bit too dark)?

I tried using a yellow [light 250 300 300 0] in the middle of the starting house which seems to make a nice tint, though plain white might match the rest of the level better...

Also, note the updated last checkpoint in SVN, that's not included in your version at the moment (though it's a quick fix).

It's been stipulated already that any content updates must be based on the latest RE revision of the file. If you have a problem with us modifying your content when we include it in the game, please do not submit it for inclusion. I modified not only the lights and skybox, but quite a lot of the material volumes throughout the level (especially the death mat). The preferred method for lighting a level is to use sunlight entities and/or the skylight variables.
