I've gone ahead and set up a Git mirror for Red Eclipse, using our existing SourceForge Git repository.
For now it is simply an alternative way to get the development version (there are no plans to move Red Eclipse away from SVN), just a thing on the side since I personally happen to really like Git.
The URL is simply
