Hello Everyone,

I'm making a new clan named [Team Victory], everyone is welcome to join and have a good time with us. We practice, we play, and most of all we have a good time.

So far the members we have are myself, Master, Old Spice.

You might want to warn Master about using my nickname. I know he was just being an idiot, but stuff like impersonating the creator of the game can carry some pretty nasty consequences. Anyway, welcome to RE.

You might want to warn a few of your members using other mods names just for recruiting purposes.

OldSpice was banned last night, refer to the text that Gingerbear posted. Adding onto what Gingerbear said, Justice [Team Victory] posed as ZeroKnight [Wazu] and was also banned. Other [Team Victory] members also harassed every member that came onto the Wazu public server.

As I've not been around to see this go down, I'm not necessarily accusing anyone, but just saying...impersonating global moderators, operators, administrators, developers and creators in-game is probably the stupidest thing you can do in this game to earn yourself a permanent global ban.

Regardless, I welcome you all to RE and wish you have fun, albeit so long as you follow the rules.

As I've suggested previously, a simple username/password registration system might be useful...

Sounds like they're working their way onto a clan-ban...

I got to the bottom of all this. It's mostly just one guy trolling. He has been going under different names and causing shit for a couple weeks. The actual clan is a lie too because he posed as another player that plays RE to make the clan.

He's also the old spice guy and the guy using the name justice.. There is a pretty big list of what he's been doing lately. Includes banning moderators from his servers and insulting mods in server names. He uses different IP's so thats why I have been getting confused. But I can confirm its all him now.

wow... i'll give the guy some credit. He's clever, making a whole clan look like a small group of people. It amazes me how far trolls will go. Good work Gingerbear.

Justice/Rahul/Old Spice/everyoneandtheirmother has admited to me that he is using a dynamic IP to avoid bans. So it is unclear if Nick is the same guy or he is innocent.

Rahul/Justice/JimBillyBobinstertnamehere also said that he had irc, a website and a forum up and running. With a quick google search. Nothing with the name [Team Victory] exist except for this thread here.

I have added bans on both */8 blocks. Please let me know if it persists so I can report it to the proper authorities.
