Better controls pls

If you shoot eg. laser and want to switch to machinegun and press machinegun button just before the 0.7 second delay between rifle shots has passed, you don't get machinegun. It should be: it should remember what weapon you want and switch to it when possible, so you can eg. shoot laser, press machinegun button and hold fire button and when 0.7 second pass, you'll shoot machinegun.

Also you must remember that grenade can be either 2 or 3 or 4, it's better to make grenade always 4.

This is the same bug I already reported I guess (I noticed it on switching rifle and shotgun), so quin knows about this issue, but it's not supposed to be fixed in any near future due to complicatedness of synchronization the weapons. Consider this rather as a lay explanation, I am not specialist at this.

EDIT: I meant only the switching, not allowing auto-fire.

yeah, this is a known issue, nothing we can do about it ATM, it's quin's job (I'm assuming by laser you mean rifle and machinegun you mean SMG). The topic title is a bit ridiculous though

This will not be fixed, timing is a crucial gameplay element in RE, and is used in the place of traditional impairments like requiring ammo/armour/health pickups. The delay is there on purpose, so that you think before you shoot.

I messed around a bit with the weapon switch delay, while it makes for faster switching, it also seriously un balances things on a normal server.
