Hi,
After I had my nebulous idea, I saw a ticket on the trac on shooting through walls (Ticket #280 [Weapon Wall Penetration] created by qreeves). It discussed slowing the speed down linearly through a defined maximum thickness of wall. What do you think about creating a variable, if one does not already exist, for allowing you to shoot through your teammates or other players. This effect could be absolute for teammates. Your gunfire goes at the other team straight through teammates as if they were not in your way. Conversely it could also be realistic for all players. As you fire your pistol bullet through another player the bullet keeps going at half speed and damage and hits their buddy behind them. I am sure that some people would like 1, the other or both behaviors but I do not know if this interest is too marginal to treat with valuable energy that could be focused on more important things as they become ripe for integration and adjustment--I digress ... .
