2 types of water maybe?

I came with an idea or suggestion.
Maybe Red Eclipse should have 2 types of water material? For Example:

I want to make an island map, with a radioactive lake at the center of it. But with the fact you can have only 1 type of water and if you change the color of a lake, you'll change also the color of the ocean.
That's were the 2nd type of water material, comes in.
The 2nd type of water material should be like the water in AssaulCube, which can only have height value and color value, while the 1st one can be as it is.

But of course, if this suggestion is possible. If yes, please implant this Idea into the next version (1.4+); If not, well, I think I'll go hang myself

This would be good to have in the game actually for some levels.

For what you're trying to get (normal water + radiation) couldn't you use lava as radiation? You'd only have to set a different lava texture.

You can use an alpha texture as the radioactive lake, or as the ocean.

Would be nice to have two material "water." One normal and the other with only "stdshader." Then it can be more realistic view with puddles and static water.

To GooshGoosh!:
You may be able to achieve something close to the desired effect by using "envmap" (possibly with a combination of scrolling and "pulseglow") for your texture water?

I forgot to say, the map idea was hypothetical. Still, it would be awesome in my opinion to have 2 types of water, instead of messing around with textures and having a hard time combining several materials.
