Parce que j'aime ce jeu j'ai décidé de faire une traduction. J'ai modifié 5 fichiers dans [chemin_vers_redeclipse]/data/config / Because I love Red Eclipse I decided to make a translation. I've modified 11 files in [redeclipse_path]/data/config :

Installation
Téléchargez une des deux archives contenant les fichiers traduits en bas de la page (prenez la version zip si vous ne savez pas laquelle prendre). Dans le répertoire de Red Eclipse, allez dans data/config, sauvegardez le fichier tips.cfg et le dossier menus, puis remplacez les fichiers par leur version traduite.

Download one of the two archives which contain the translated files at the bottom of the page (take the zip version if you don’t know how to choose). In the Red Eclipse directory, go to data/config, backup the file tips.cfg and the directory menus/, then replace the files with the translated version.

Ensuite, mettez/then, add

I replaced the default's configs on yours, but the language in game has not changed (v.1.3.1).

That will take quite a long time for quin to write and implement all of those languages, and he has not even said yes, so don't expect that anytime soon. Rely on your own files.

For weapon names. I don't know if literal translation is better or not. Flammeur seems a bit odd. Why not for PM. but it's quite unusual

Il est toujours possible de changer le nom des armes dans la 1.4 mais la syntaxe est avec des ", contrairement à celle de la 1.3. / It’s still possible to change the name of the weapons in 1.4 but the syntax is with ", unlike the 1.3 one.

J’ai aussi ajouté deux traductions (les deux seules autres choses que je peux traduire via des variables). / I’ve also added two translations (the only two others things I can translate with variables).

J’ai mis à jour la page française du wiki pour la 1.4, mais aussi beaucoup d’erreurs corrigées, beaucoup d’améliorations et un petit peu plus d’informations. Elle est plus à jour que les pages anglaises et possède des informations que l’on ne trouve pas sur les autres pages. Je vais essayer de mettre ses informations sur les autres pages du wiki, mais je ne promet rien prochainement.

I’ve updated the French page of the wiki for 1.4, but there’s also many errors fixed, many ameliorations and a little bit more informations. She’s more up-to-date than the english pages and have informations we can’t found in others pages. I’ll try to write this informations on the other pages of the wiki, but I don’t promise something soon.

Cela signifie que je ne peux pas traduire plus de choses sans modifier le code source de Red Eclipse (et je n’ai pas envie de le faire, car cela me prend déjà beaucoup de temps de faire cette traduction). Cependant, beaucoup beaucoup de choses sont traduites maintenant (en tout cas tous les menus sauf le mode édition, que je n’ai pas l’intention de traduire).

That means I can’t translate more things without modifying the source code of Red Eclipse (and I don’t want to, because it takes me already many times to do this translation). However many many things are translated now (in any case all the menus apart from editing mode, which I don’t want to translate).

J’ai fini la traduction de la 1.3, n’hésitez pas à me signaler les erreurs que vous trouverez et à me faire des suggestions. / I’ve finished the 1.4 translation, don’t hesitate to highlight errors and make suggestions.
