TeamSpeak? Use Mumble! Get it here, it's free and open-source, not to mention that it supports positional audio for Red Eclipse (which TeamSpeak doesn't). That means that if I'm standing to the left of you and I speak, then the sound will actually come from your left speaker!

I have a crappy Chinese £0.10 microphone I bought at a local car boot sale of sorts (old lady was selling it, thought it was a phone LOL) but I probably can't play the game and chat at the same time due to the limitations of my computer hardware. I can, however, talk normally.

Also, can't wait for us to have our own server. Maybe one day we can build on the psych. name and build a really wacky, utterly surrealistic Red Eclipse map with ridiculous textures for psychos.

OMG PUSHISHONAL AUDIOSH! Well, I am working hard on getting a server tower up, both for RE and for voicechat, so we will see ^^

Haha! Well if you don't have a mic your computer always has one built in; you just have to boost the volume a bit and make sure there is no white noise in the background, easily done

Me too! Well, we could do a few of those; I am fairly good with Photoshop so a few crazy textures wouldn't be hard. I prefer open, Quake-style maps myself - add that together with crazy textures and you are in for one awesome match

After some thorough testing I found out that unfortunately, I do not have enough bandwith avalible to run my own server. I am currently looking at getting a couple slots cheap over at http://www.maverickservers.com, we will see

Uh, I don't think you really understand what a clan war in gaming is.. it is 2-6 people from 2 clans playing together, not an all-out massacre of all the clans.

Plus if we threw in all of the "rogues" we would need a hell of a lot more than 4 teams

Anyway, if you want to try and organize that go ahead. I am still hurting from when I took weeks to set up a professional tournament, and nobody checked their email for like, months, and we never got past two games - shows the level of communication here

sorry, that's what I meant, I just typed before I thought about what I was typing. Yeah, maybe a "best-of/representative" thing could happen where the clan decides together on who goes on a team. Now there's a trick; predetermine the mutators and match type, and adjust players according to that. Some guys could specialize in quick movement, others in rifle accuracy (for insta), maybe some are absolute ninjas when you give them swords.

Yeah, I didn't really mean all of them, just whoever happened to join the server that wasn't part of a clan could be part of a team of nobodies.

Hey guys and gals - get ready to move!

JayJay from the original Evolution (not Evo II, the original) is getting back into RE, and wanted to revive his clan. We got talking and decided to merge our small clans into a single, unified community: Existence.

We think this is for the best, as JayJay and I are like-minded, and we both want to help our members improve their game, and have fun doing it.
Both of us are working hard to find a willing individual who will lend us his bandwidth, or an affordable (read:free ) solution to our server problem.

Changed member list, server is up and running now for 1.4.

It had 500+ ping for everyone with just 6 people connected, need to sort that out methinks. The latency was so awful that we had to play on DOOM's server instead.

Last time i had around 150... Running a server on RasPi which will inevitably get heavy load isnt a good idea.
RE's netcode is very good, so the server being in Finland shouldnt affect it too much; i've played on Temka's RM servers in Russia without a problem.

Lets see what we can do; the server was fine with 3 but it seems like it bows under pressure
