well, you need google earth, then you open the file with google earth, then add your location, then you save it as kmz, post back to forums
oh, and i added the little icon from re folder on my pc

i was hoping for someone to take the initiative and add a global map to the website to show how this game is played all over the world,
this map is from the early days of re, there were no forums at that time, not official anyway, having a map of players locations gives people
an idea of how big it is, like i said, doesn't require your actual address, i'm shocked that you guys don't use google earth and already know

yea I was never a big fan of google earth, I think google maps is more convenient for most people, if you dont mind collecting the links, that could work I guess.

I know how to use Google earth, I just don't because... I don't need to. I think all of us here know basic photo editing, so it would be better just to have a large world map .jpg so nobody needs to install software they will only use once, plus also everyone can look at it more easily then (no download to fiddle around with). Also, my location is Earth, just in case nobody knew that yet.
