Contribution for in-game music

Hello All,

Just played Red Eclipse after some time, great game! Playing Unreal tournament for years now, and red eclipse is a nice alternative in the genre.

I produce some experimental tracks in my free time. Im a big fan of Romdiprisco and Kevin riepl (both composers for the original unreal series), and i came to notice 2 of my tracks would fit in a game such as this. I played them as background music while playing Red Eclipse for testing, and it sounded pretty good.

It would be great to add those tracks in the game package if the devs/fans love it!

You can listen the 2 tracks i am referring to on my soundcloud:

Tracks:
    save-me-from-faceclassic
    Skylab9000 for LRC

Like to hear your response. Of course i am willing to remix existing tracks to suit better for the game.

-Randy.

Both tracks don't quite match the style of the current ingame music, but hey, like you said, it works well nonetheless.
Remix them a little so that it loops seamlessly (the current tracks ALL have seamless loops) and I'd rate **** out of ***** for both tracks!

Thanks for your rating wowie! I too noticed they dont fully match the existing in-game music (which are great tracks too by the way!).

I will do some re-mixing soon and make them loop seamlessly, and see how it turns out.

Not too fond of 'save-me-from-faceclassic' myself, due to that distorted sound that goes up and down in tone (stuff like that always sounds like white noise to me). You've also licensed your work CC-by-nc - Red Eclipse does not accept any content that has a non-commercial clause (for various reasons I won't get into on this thread).

Thanks qreeves for your feedback. Imho the distorted sound you are referring to (which was ment to be a distorted guitar) sounds far from white noise lol, although i understand what you mean. I later noticed its volume is to high in the composition.

Thanks for the license issue, i will look into it later.
