Isolation

Far above the arctic circle, a remote research station sits on the windswept landscape. The scientists who once staffed the concrete structure have long since abandoned it to the elements.

This map is compatible with deathmatch, TDM, and bomber-ball.

I have extensively retextured the map. Trim and darker textures have been added to provide variation in the materials. The strength of the pushers has been increased, and a grate model has been added to the vents in each pusher room. The dark corners of the map have been brightened significantly. Map geometry has been updated as well.

The atmosphere of this map looks absolutely amazing.

One thing that strikes me from the images is that maybe it would be nice would be if the surrounding mountains/entrances had more variance, I'm thinking maybe the entrances could have a black 201-monolith-inspired look for example, to break the grey mass of rock.
But maybe you already have plans for it?

Finally a map where my cyan player colour doesn't make me an obvious neon target! :)

Great map! The lighting and colour scheme are really nicely done, and it plays pretty smoothly against bots. I look forward to having a real game on it.

It might need a few more weapon placements, but I'm not sure yet.

I'm very impressed! You've even built your own forklift, how genious is that! :D

The map plays well but you definitely need to add waypoints to improve the experience when playing against bots. I was thinking that maybe you could lower some gates because now they have all 4 the same heighth. Very good use of textures and lighting and the building looks ery detailed. Maybe some rocks could be a little less flat but other that that it's great! You might want to add to your post which gametypes are supported as well.

Keep it up and I would love to see it appear in online games as well.

Tried it out. Not bad. Not bad at all. Seems great for the multi mutator as well.
However, in the current state it seems to only be for DeathMatch. I believe it could easily be turned into a Bomberball/CTF/DTF map as well by just placing a few affinities. Are you planning on making it playable outside of DeathMatch as well or do you want it to stay a DeathMatch map?

Thank you. I used your revisions as a base for this latest update.

I have fixed a few texture errors and lowered two of the gates in the bottom area. The map is also now compatible with bomber-ball.
