Red Eclipse doesn't run! :(

Hi there. I'm using Ubuntu 11.10, and I downloaded the Linux file from the Red Eclipse website. However, when I click on the .sh file and tell it to run, nothing happens. I would really like to play Red Eclipse, but I'm not sure how to.

Attempt to execute it from the terminal (open a terminal and navigate to the directory containing your Red Eclipse installation, then type ./redeclipse.sh). Then post the output here so we can diagnose it
It's probable that you're missing some dependencies.

You probably need to install SDL, it will take in quite some packages that are necessary.
Otherwise do as suggested and post the terminal output here.
