I want to know where are the set to default settings option in Redeclipse. I am very new to networking gaming and red eclipse is the best fps game for me.. i like it..


but i found problems in understanding what is "bind" while choosing keys for game play in RE.. please help me..

I think he means how to reset to defaults. If it's variables, you can use the resetvars command. If it's actual options, then you can achieve this by deleting your config.cfg and init.cfg from the directory quin mentioned.
Be sure you back them up first in case you change your mind!

As far as what a bind is... You "bind" commands/vars to keys. So, "forward" is bound to W, or "action 0" (primary fire) is bound to MOUSE1

It doesn't just have to be single vars/commands, you can even bind keys to execute blocks of code as well :)
The syntax for binding is as follows:

{l Code}: {l Select All Code}

bind <key> [<command>]

To unbind a key, use:

{l Code}: {l Select All Code}

bind <the key to unbind> ""

Those are two quotes with no space.

Zero basically explained binds, so here is an example to help :

bind F5 ""
^This would clear the F5 key bind. To find a list of key names, you can look at the keymap.cfg file in the data folder, located in the folder where you installed Red Eclipse.
