EXTREMELY low fps

EXTREMELY low fps

Postby TheSeraphim » 07 Sep 2011, 00:29

I downloaded the game from the link today only to find, to my amazement that I somehow get a wopping 2 fps even if im just in the menu.

This has nothing to do with my computer being a piece of crap I can run new games such as Fallout: NV perfectly on high settings.

I've tried putting the game through different compatability mode thinking it might be because im on win 7 64-bit nothing changes.

anyone got any ideas?

I"m running Win7 Pro x64 and everything seems fine. Check your graphics settings. Like antialiasing. And if you are running things in the background that are unneeded, close them. Also, if you notice a particular program that opens with RE, that might be the problem. But that is rare.

The most common cause of this problem is using the drivers bundled by Microsoft for your video card, which has poor OpenGL support. Visit the website of the vendor of your video card and download/install the latest drivers available there.
