Gears Of War(Over Shoulder) Third Person Perspective Style.

Hi all,
Can you make the third person perspective look like "gears of war" style? over shoulder one?
The reason is: if to tell you the truth, personally, my aim is better in third person perspective (I don't know why) and the player model get in my way, even if its transparent.

This would be great for the medieval mode. Some more melee weapons would be cool as well. I'd really like to play something like Rune's multiplayer mode, that game was fun. :)

I think medieval mode actually has some good potential if it had more melee weapons to choose from (medieval mode only weapons) and 3rd person.

Anyone else love Unreal Championship 2: The Liandri Conflict? Melee mode in that with finishing moves was amazing.

Yeah, its very hard to fight with a sword when you're in first person perspective. :)

I think it's time we have an Axe, a Club, a Hammer, etc. to choose from. I hope that, maybe in the future, this gets implemented in RE.

you can already play medieval in 3rd person, i do. and you can also make it a pseudo over the shoulder too with some simple cvars. but making it a true 3rd person like you want would be harder since the 3rd person code is different than sauers and the usually camera tricks from there i couldn't get working in RE.
