Hi, I just downloaded the Supernova edition and it's acting oddly.
The previous version worked just fine, but now other players are invisible and I get a lot of errors such as "unable to load such and such".
I think I must have installed it incorrectly.
After downloading, what should I have done?

Quite possible that you have a very stale config saved in your user folder. Try clearing the contents of the folder and starting from scratch. Locations: Linux: ~/.redeclipse; Windows: [My] Documents\My Games\Red Eclipse; Mac: /Users/<name>/Library/Application Support/redeclipse

Still weird.
When the tar file decompresses and does it's thing, all I end up with is the single RE app file (I'm on a Mac) with no supporting files. When I browe the servers I don't get a thumbnail image for servers running "blink", which suggests to me that I'm missing other files.
I ran the tar file from inside a folder on my desktop, should that work okay?

Okay, thanks, I'm downloading now...

Worked perfectly.
I haven't played 1.1 much but the new flames and rifle splash look great, other new features sound good too.
