I suppose the best place to start our chat, talk to the people there, get involved, and just join in on the fun. Along the way we discuss certain new game mechanics or stuff we're trying, and usually people on our IRC channel are there on the front line giving feedback.

Also, from time to time, search Youtube for "Red Eclipse Gameplay". People, like me for example, post gameplay from this game in hopes that it will spread. And you can gain some nice tactics from watching in-game videos. For the record, this game is awesome and i'd suggest recommending it to your friends. Well, the ones who are getting bored with COD/Halo or the ones that just wanna try something different.

Ohai, I'm also new to Open Source gaming. Up until now, I've been playing Nexon's Combat Arms, and I have to say, Red Eclipse beats that by a mile. I'll probably post vids once I get my graphics settings right for Fraps. Dropping below 35 fps is not good for my aim, and given I play on a laptop (low end dedicated card btw), fps is often hard to come by without butchering such a beautiful game.

I'll be recording also. So look forward to videos on my youtube and on my clans site soon. We're also working on mods for the community and custom content to be released on our site.
