Korsi and I later confirmed, watched 2 full matches of it.

I agree.
I played 2 rounds with him as well and I suddenly asked myself, "Where is he???".
So I wanted to spec him and saw him standing in the air and hitting everybody with one shot only.
cinta {l Wrote}:Did anyone notice if when they loaded the map that a message appeared in the top left hand corner saying he had a modified map?
TheLastProject {l Wrote}: ballist1c will hopefully post a screenshot soon or so, I forgot to take one.

quintux_v {l Wrote}:This really should be stickied or something, but I wanted to know: what exactly constitutes troublemaking? I saw a guy earlier with rather suspicious behavior, and his ping was the exact same as some of the bots - all three (2 bots + player) changed at the same time to the same value.

That's because bots run on the clients.

ballist1c {l Wrote}:Yes; if you turn onthen you will see the skill of a bot when they first spawn, and every so often they will get "reassigned" to another player at different skill levels and such.

Correct. Servers do not run the bots, connected players do. That's why some bots can seem very laggy if someone else on the server is very laggy, and why one or more bots will have a ping that matches another player.
This is exceptionally handy: (SVN though)

In 1.3 I believe it's /showbotinfo 1 and /showhostnames 1. On the scoreboard, you will see an "on" column; short for "owner number". This is equal to the "cn" (client number) of whoever is hosting that bot. It looks a lot cleaner in SVN though, as it shows the name and owner number ^^ballist1c {l Wrote}:Yes; if you turn onthen you will see the skill of a bot when they first spawn, and every so often they will get "reassigned" to another player at different skill levels and such.

showaiinfo would work, but *botinfo and scorehostinfo/showhostnames work a lot better "on demand". Of course you can also enable it in addition if you really wanted.

BruceW {l Wrote}:Oh, the last post was published so many days ago.
Anyways, there is a player wearing the >DOOM< tag and killing team-mates for no reason.
He even said there were no game rules, since RE was an open-source game.<re-public> <Harrison >DOOM<> its an open source game.. there are by deffination no rules

He got banned by me and Wazubaba for many times, but could return by changing his IP. He usually said he wouldn't understand English at all, but he is U.S. American. So do not believe him.![]()
And no, he is no DOOM member and he is not gonna become one.
Please keep your eyes open for him.
