Hacker alert!

He was standing in the air only and every shot was a hit.

I agree.

I played 2 rounds with him as well and I suddenly asked myself, "Where is he???".

So I wanted to spec him and saw him standing in the air and hitting everybody with one shot only.

Did anyone notice if when they loaded the map that a message appeared in the top left hand corner saying he had a modified map?

I don't think so... but then I don't notice much nowadays. A lot of our dedicated players have some version of SVN, and it gets hard to tell.

89.179.216.237

Impersonating another player (UserFo [WAZU] in this case) and extreme teamkilling (-52 points). ballist1c will hopefully post a screenshot soon or so, I forgot to take one.

I think the scoreboard which shows how much negative points he had would've been useful too, but oh well :P

After spectating Jack>KING< / MelvinSour BLAZE for a couple matches, I am highly suspecting an aimbot. His movements are very stilted and jerky when firing 95% of the time, not at all like the smooth mouse movements that humans have.

pH and I have seen him shooting at walls as well, where people were behind.

pH also suspects use of NetLimiter (http://www.netlimiter.com/), as all of a sudden 4 or 5 of us disconnected and reconnected, and he said "JACK JACK JACK JACK"
Posting "HAHAHAHAHAA LOSER XD" after a kill does not help his case either.

I will post a demo in a bit.

Cmon dudes! Jack is a great player and i say that not, just cause he is a BLAZEr too. Dont talk bullshit, He dont use any hacks. Than his scores would be much better. I nearly got him a few times and im really not the best player . . . Many ppl call Scatter or Leihens also Hackers, but they are not - like Jack too....

Ah and for that wall thing... He uses radar and now how to use the splash damage of the rifle good.. Whats your problem? Ask Korsi , michel, or Scatter, all of them can beat him in instagib, its possible, so why hacking??

This really should be stickied or something, but I wanted to know: what exactly constitutes troublemaking? I saw a guy earlier with rather suspicious behavior, and his ping was the exact same as some of the bots - all three (2 bots + player) changed at the same time to the same value.

That's because bots run on the clients.

Yes; if you turn on
{l Code}: {l Select All Code}
/showaiinfo 1
then you will see the skill of a bot when they first spawn, and every so often they will get "reassigned" to another player at different skill levels and such.

Correct. Servers do not run the bots, connected players do. That's why some bots can seem very laggy if someone else on the server is very laggy, and why one or more bots will have a ping that matches another player.

This is exceptionally handy: (SVN though)
{l Code}: {l Select All Code}
/scorebotinfo 1
/scorehostinfo 1

In 1.3 I believe it's /showbotinfo 1 and /showhostnames 1. On the scoreboard, you will see an "on" column; short for "owner number". This is equal to the "cn" (client number) of whoever is hosting that bot. It looks a lot cleaner in SVN though, as it shows the name and owner number ^^

showaiinfo would work, but *botinfo and scorehostinfo/showhostnames work a lot better "on demand". Of course you can also enable it in addition if you really wanted.

Also, in SVN, you can identify bots easily via their badge on the scoreboard, without changing any options.

Okay, that explains it all, it was just really weird how all three were the exact same at the same time.

Oh, the last post was published so many days ago.

Anyways, there is a player wearing the >DOOM< tag and killing team-mates for no reason.

He even said there were no game rules, since RE was an open-source game.

<re-public> <Harrison >DOOM<> its an open source game.. there are by deffination no rules

IP: 172.21.70.80

He got banned by me and Wazubaba for many times, but could return by changing his IP. He usually said he wouldn't understand English at all, but he is U.S. American. So do not believe him. ;)

And no, he is no DOOM member and he is not gonna become one.

Please keep your eyes open for him.

ALWAYS use /getdemo at the end of a match. I no longer accept user reports without a demo recording of the incident.

Hm, unfortunately, Wazubaba and I were not able to get that specific demo showing Harrison in action.

And do you accept the IRC log?
