[Suggestion] Red Eclipse on Android and IOS?

Logically you will have to do models with less vertices, less geometrical maps, low detail particles, lower texture res and stuff.
But apart from that would it be a good idea?

I don't think the gameplay in Red Eclipse lends itself well for such a device. Besides that, how would you aim? The only not-terribly-slow way I can think of is by turning your device. But shooting? Jumping? Wallrunning? Secondary attack? Crouching? Do you even have enough keys for that?

I recall comments that this would require porting the engine to OpenGL ES, which there are no plans to do:

As far as controls go: "/mousetype 2" :þ

Let's be honest here, how many people have a bluetooth keyboard for their mobile device? And also, that only fixes half the issue, aiming would still be a hell.

LOL! Good valid point... I wouldn't even try to play it myself like that... I like High Resolution and Big Screens. And I need a Mouse for sure...
