1. The sfx in Red Eclipse sounds pretty bassy (at least a lot of the weapon sfx) when listening to them outside of the game, but when hearing the sfx play 'in-game' they actually sound pretty good. So what does the game do to the audio?
2. Since you have to create sfx that sounds quite bad on their own (outside of the game) to make it sound good 'in-game' there's a lot of trial and error involved with creating new sfx to the game. So do you guys create sfx and then run them through some sort of program/filter? (If so: what's its name?)
I am asking these questions because I'm trying to remake some of the Red Eclipse sfx. (I've managed to do the SMG primary so far). This game is btw awesome.
