Problem with SVN version

Postby bovineuniversity » 06 Jun 2011, 19:57

I've been playing for a while on the 1.0 version, and decided to try out the SVN version.
I got the latest, but when I join a map I can't see any opponents, and tons of "unknown command: getcolour" and "could not find bone..." messages in the consle from which I launched it.
I'm running on 64-bit linux. Not sure if this behavior is normal considering svn is under development or not, just wondering if I have a problem. V1.0 still runs fine.

Eh, yeah, apparently the linux builds are seven weeks old. You'll probably have to build it yourself.

Thanks sireus. Tried to make it, got an error.

shared/cube.h:48:23: fatal error: SDL_image.h: No such file or directory
compilation terminated.

Installed libsdl-image1.2-dev and libsdl-mixer1.2-dev and it compiled fine.
Only thing is, it doesn't seem like I can play on any servers since they all use an older protocol. Oh well.
