Heya! I'm trying to make good use of reddit to find collaborators, so I could use a few extra votes on this
https://www.reddit.com/r/javascript/com ... e_looking/
AncientBeast.com - Battle other players by materializing and controlling awesome creatures, each having unique abilities!
FM Patreon page - Support the free open source game development foundation and creation of high quality free assets!

Upvoted! :) That's a good initiative, hopefully you get a couple more contributors involved.

You could try to cross-post to those subreddits too for more visibility:
https://www.reddit.com/r/FreeGaming/
https://www.reddit.com/r/opensourcegames
https://www.reddit.com/r/freesoftware
https://www.reddit.com/r/opensource/
Godot Engine project manager and maintainer.
Occasional FOSS gamedev: Lugaru, OpenDungeons, Jetpaca, Minilens.

Thanks! I wasn't aware of some of those subreddits.
I'm struggling hard to get more people involved in order to have things in place within a month or two so that the new version can be released.
I'm still trying to figure out how reddit works overall.
I'm actually a bit confused about cross-posting atm, seen some people do it by linking to the original one as a link and mentioning in the title that it's a cross post, is that what you recommend doing as well?

I was thinking more of posting the same message in the other subreddits, but to be honest I'm also a reddit noob :P

Just post the same link to different subreddits. Don't need to go all meta and start posting reddit submissions etc.
Free Gamer - it's the dogz
Vexi - web UI platform

You mean like a direct link to the project's website or GitHub repository? Hmm, alright, will try that as well eventually :-)
