Animated gifs

I managed to come up with details (including abilities) for a lot of creatures so now we're moving into the animation stage.
We're using sprite sheets but we're also creating gifs for fun and to easier preview stuff, even if we do have a custom made html5 sprite sheet player (which will probably get integrated into our creature bestiary soon).

1. Gorgeous.
2. Isn't the gif format a bit too low-quality? Why not animated PNGs? You need an extremely modern browser to run Ancient Beast anyway as it really pushes HTML5 to its limits. A browser that is most likely able to render APNG out of the box. ;)
You just wasted 3 seconds of your life reading this.

1. Thanks!
2. The gifs are just to display out of the game so to say. For the game we'll actually be using sprite sheets, we even made a nice blender addon for exporting creature animations as sprite sheets, it's called spritify. Never really used APNG's but I think there's more control overall by using sheets.
