About 3D models

Hello,
I would like to ask if there is any possibility to get some 3D models from any open source game developers? We are creating awesome website where you can print 3D models with 3D printer, and need some examples. We are interested only in open source game models until we expand. I'm looking forward for replies!

OpenGameArt.org is your friend here.
They collect also 3d models and you can search by license.

Thanx for link, but i need models from games, like real open source games, because the main idea is to offer gamers their favorite characters. :)

Since they are open source, why not look for models in those projects directly? Many would be under open licenses already. There is no need to get it from the developers.

The trick is that most of the games have formats that is not suitable for us, we need obj. , stl. , or blender formats, so maybe if i could find developers, they might have those.

What do you need devs for..
There is a whole freaking huge site with CC licensed models in blender. So do export yourself, etc.
blendswap.com
Many Stunt Rally cars are from there.
PS. try to read and learn more, not speak.

Thanx dimproject. Calm down CryHam, you have to understand that we do not need random blends. the idea is to get full sets of chars/weapons/monsters, we need website where we can link people to try those games and etc. Please don't reply anymore CryHam.
