Hello,
I´m a newbie, who is playing supertux v0.5.1 on Win10 and I´m loving it, but...
in the forest world, the level "counter current" when you ascend to the cave is very dark, I can see barely nothing. Is this suppose to be like this, because I´ve seen youtube videos and the level is brighter.
So how can I fix this?

There is nothing to fix. We made the underground part darker in 0.5.1 for some extra difficulty.

I don't think that's fair though, there are different monitor types and some people can see through darkness better than others.

Countercurrent is schedule for removal anyway with the level redesign. There will be a "replacement". This is how it will look like: https://twitter.com/supertux_team/status/760374592963747840

some extra difficulties would be all right, but this is a bit to dark - it's not possible to pass it without having it mapped out in your mind so it' s not fun anymore, I'm a "normal" gamer and it get me frustrated. If I play this on Linux then the cave is much brighter, I would agree it's to easy.

Is there a possibility to change this in the css. ?

You can edit the level.

Here's a detailed description:
1. Open the level in the Level Editor (Level Editor > Forest World > Countercurrent)
2. Select "Sector: underground" by clicking in the bottom left corner and then on "underground".
3. Click there again and select "Sector settings..."
4. Click on "Ambient Light"
5. Hover over the red, green and blue text and type in a higher number for each (1 is the maximum)
6. Click OK > OK > Cancel to close the menus
7. Press ESC and select "Save current level"
8. Press ESC again and click "Exit level editor"
Now it should be brighter.

now it´s a little bit brighter and it is fun playing it.
