My theory is that SuperTux has multiple directories for picking up the information (such as how the images folder is in both appdata and data folders, yet it is treated like one) so you could try checking there in Windows Explorer then delete the level if you come across it.
Try C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\SuperTux\supertux2\levels and see what's in there
Then try C:\Program Files\SuperTux\data\levels and see what's in there
I've never had this problem happen to me, as far as I can remember.
You're reading this? Yay!
What should I say? I don't know..

That is indeed the case. I had that problem happen to me on Windows, and that was the exact cause. Make sure that all new levels are added to "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\SuperTux\supertux2\levels" rather than to "C:\Program Files\SuperTux\data\levels". This can especially happen when porting levels between computers that were not downloaded using SuperTux 2's "Add-Ons" feature.
