Less wide jumps, lesser scripted traps for example. ;)

I would not want to spoil anyone's fun by making an ultra-hard level. But I don't want to make it too easy.

I especially meant those impossible jumps in "Snowy Forests" with the saw blade, or in your third level "Fatal" after the traps, in the underground. And some music would be nice. ;)

Just make it an easy level. Your easy level will have just the right difficulty then. :)

To explain this, making the level easier but longer doesn't change the difficulty. Short hard levels are usually frusturating and easy long levels tend to be boring. Easy short levels tend to be crappy and not entertaining at all and long hard levels are not funny at all. The length 250 - 350 tiles is recommended, I'd recommend even more. If you want to know whether your level is easy or hard, let it play to the others or play with a handicap, eg. play only with small Tux or play only by your left hand.

The level is still way too hard, in my opinion. Make it more fun!

I think inclusion in Incubator Island and official changes to them may be the best way forward. However, they are probably so terrible they cannot be included.

The levels seem easy to you because you are the creator of them, and you understand how they function. However we do not understand very clearly how they function, and their added difficulty makes it harder to understand how the levels work.

@brmbrmcar: Don't be so hard on yourself. Your first two levels that you uploaded may have had some flaws, but that doesn't mean you are no good as a level designer. If you keep on trying, eventually you will understand the Supertux style, and you can make some really good levels. Even some of the devs here have created levels that received lots of criticism, but they kept trying anyways, and improved their level developing skills.
Here is a little hint for your level design. A gimmick or difficulty may challenge the players, but the aesthetic of the level will make them want to play a level again and again. In my personal experience, I would rather play an easy level that looks really good than a hard level that has no decoration or looks bad. As far as level length goes, I typically don't care how long a level is, as long as I'm having fun playing it, and as long as there are enough checkpoints. Try looking at other video games like Mario to get some inspiration for level design. With practice, you could be a great level designer.

I will try to make levels as soon as I can fix a little issue where I pretty much can't play SuperTux (after re-install, tried different versions, tried all the tricks, I want to cry).

Oh, and it isn't a SuperTux issue I don't think.

I can't play SuperTux, as I said before, something is broken, possibly my keyboard but that is a big coincidence.
