I've been playing SuperTux 0.4.0 and completed Icy Island. I can't figure out how to get to the bonus level though. I can't remember for sure, but I thought there used to be a dead-end branch on the road that would get you there (a while back when I was using an SVN version). Is the bonus level not accessible in the 0.4.0 release? Or is there another way to get to the bonus level that I'm missing?

I haven't played 0.4 yet, but in 0.3, it was just an invisible road off of a random level. I don't remember which level exactly, but it doesn't take long to figure it out by trying them all.

After you beat the Mysterious House of Ice, just go up on the worldmap and you'll get there.

If you haven't already, head down where one of those platforms are, there should be a big underground space and below it, a castle!

what icy island and where do i get those levels?

"Story Mode" is where you can play Icy Island. It's on the main screen.
These levels and many others come with the game. They can be found in the contrib levels.
