I finished the world together with my kid.
It's ok , i guess for me . But my 8year kid couldnt
pass many difficult spots like running and jumping afar with
the aid of the wind tunnels and especially the tower where
the diffucult level is increased suddenly a lot.
But my kid loved espessialy the level where tux swims,
how the story starts..
and its logicaly to expect sth similar to the end.
I mean the end is dry comparing it to how interesting is
the intro.
So for final level with the tower that i played,
i felt is getting close to the masocore genre.
I managed to do ti, but maybe its me , i want
more fun and more help from a game.
But maybe some irriitating nuances are related to
game mechanics. Like grapping the rope , or getting that lever down.
I mean those mechanics should get more polishing and a feedback in order to
feel better. Instead now i feel many time like ' why it didnt happen now, i though i made the correct moves!)
So
Generally i think WeLuvGoatz deserves credit for the excellent effort
but i think the poor end is unbalanced with the cool intro.
The diffuculty should in the tower level get lower .
And generally we should rethink if to approch a younger kid should we use mechanics to
allow diffulty modifications like i think are used nicely in platform game 'celeste'
Thanks.
