Godot SuperTux

Godot SuperTux

I made an experimental version of SuperTux in Godot. There's not much to do in it as the only features are Tux, a bare bones tileset and some physics. You can find it here:

There’s quite a hype around Godot at the moment, right? Wesnoth is doing something similar: https://github.com/wesnoth/haldric
I made a worldmap, see “Puzzles or Platforms?

I'm considering making Tux Builder use 3D models if I decide to continue with it.

Pretty cool. Godot also has easy to use and pretty good physics too.

Time for an update. I've ditched the 3D art style in favour of the original aesthetic but I am revamping the animations for most of the creatures/objects. I'm also working on the level editor which has basic functionality like placing and removing tiles.

The source code is at https://github.com/Alzter/TuxBuilder and you can try it for yourself if you have Godot 3.1.
