SuperTux Mac PowerPC

Is SuperTux supposed to run on Mac OS X PowerPC? I can't find the system requirements and it does not work for me. I know the platform is outdated but I am a bit surprised the number of programs that are still being ported too it, especially open source stuff.

SuperTux is built on SDL2, and given that SDL2 doesn't officially provide powerpc binaries, it's going to take a lot of work to add support for it. These days it's a very niche platform.

Uh, I see. Ok, I won't spend any more time trying to get it to run on that platform then. Thanks

Even if it would be easier it would require compiling it on a PowerPC Mac or on one running Snow Leopard to build for PowerPC. That would make compiling releases very tedious for us (in fact, currently we basically have a "button" (don't take that too exact) that we can press and it compiles ready releases for Windows, Mac, and soon Linux).

You might be better off trying to run it on Linux on PPC.
