Don't mean to be Impatient, but when does 0.5.0 release? I'm not asking for a specific date, but an approximation would be nice.

Will it feature "just" the new level editor, or will the forest island be ready and in the main game by then?

It's gonna be released when:
a) The editor is bug-free for the current feature set.
b) Translators had a go at translating the new strings (iirc we want to give them a couple weeks for the new strings)

Also: 0.5.0 will actually just feature the new level editor, yes (plus additional bugfixes). We have postponed most of the other things to post-0.5.0 to get the editor out to the world.

Can the editor be merged? It should be in the nightlies now, even if it is super buggy.

We decided to test extensively internally before merging it with master. But, don't worry, we will merge with master soon enough. Just give us a few more weeks.

Then please provide builds for it. There are many people screaming ot for it.
