It would be nice to see tux swimming in a water world, since the penguins are excellent swimmers. :)

That would be a nice idea. However, the SuperTux Team would have to create new assets for the water. Because Tux swimming in the current water tiles would break almost every level consisting of water.

He'd also look backward when you are passed him. Though I need to do some touch ups on the sprites.

I'd like to be able to customise my Tux sprite, as well as being able to script playing as a badguy (with the restrictions of one).

Would Dark Tux have a dark purple particle effect on him like the purple flower in DOOM Islands? (Explained on the Pipe Maze level)

Sure. But I still have to fix the sprites. There are traces of a weird white outline around them.

Castle badguy idea: Nolok statue with darker colors than the background decoration. When Tux gets close, it walks towards him. Slightly shorter than the background decoration so Tux can jump over it. Can be killed by walking into a pit, but survives spikes and lava. (Possibly add a spike proof power up for Tux (similar to Mario's kuribo shoe) so that Tux can ride statue over long steps of spikes or lava)

I think the mushroom is a cool enemy! I love the confused look on it's face when you pass it.

Personally what I would want the most is an ingame tile creator. The user could save their tiles within their world as a file such as "worldtiles.strf". When editing a world, those tiles would be loaded. Not sure how the UI for that will be like, though. If the dev team is willing to, it might be a challenge - or I can TRY and build it.

New Guy here first post I work professionally as a freelance artist, although I'm pretty busy with work I thought I'd post some quick concept art ideas up feel free to use for artistic inspiration and expand upon if wanted lol Ideas and art are free to use under GPL license I tried to keep style in fitting with iconic game looks and artistic direction. I would draw up full sprite sheets etc. yet job and time does not allow it right now.

I really love the graphics. Though it's quite.. "cartoony" and doesn't exactly fit the SuperTux theme.

Wow, I think this looks great! I really like the Tux sprite you made. If that was the iconic hero of the game, it would make the whole feel of the game look more professional.

Only one thing though. The feet don't quite match the angle of the ground.

I like the Tux sprite, but I'm not sure if it fits the atmosphere of the game. Maybe try using the game's style, but keep a little of the quirkiness? I would love to see a unique rendition of Fire Tux. The hat from Milestone 2 just doesn't seem to be that unique.

There should be a snowball with a war hat which if you butt jump on the snowball it turns into a normal snowball with 25% more speed

Why exactly a war hat? That doesn't really fit to SuperTux.
And it would be the exact same creature like the Snowman.
