Greetings everyone,

I downloaded and installed SuperTux 2 on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS the game runs fine but it fails to store settings such as the resolution, aspect ratio and magnification. How can I overcome this issue? Any help is appreciated.

HI, I'd suggest that you try a build from here(there should be one for there): viewtopic.php?f=67&t=2777 and if the problem still happens, you can submit a bug to the tracker: viewtopic.php?f=67&t=2777

I tried uninstalling and installing the game via repositories up to no avail. By the way did you mean I should install the latest version or the most stable one? I am a Linux newbie so I can use some help here. Thank again

Can you try the Linux package from here(there should be one for there): viewtopic.php?f=67&t=2777 and if the problem still happens, you can submit a bug to the tracker: viewtopic.php?f=67&t=2777 these packages are actually quite stable, so there isn't really a stability issue there.
