Feedback an blender-help on my first sortof Gamedev Project

Postby groemer05 » 20 Jul 2017, 13:05

Hello,

I am just starting out and I want to create a very small project, so I can see some results and learn a lot :-)

The "Game" of choice is a Dice-Simulator for Pen&Paper RPGs.
I allready did most of the necessary work in Unity and started using Blender for the models and meshes.
Here's a demo: https://squirreltail.itch.io/ultidice
Unity was pretty straight forward, but Blender gives me a really hard time.

Is there any BLender guy here, that can help me understand, how to create D10 and D20 dice models including textures and numbers?

Any feedback on the project and hints regarding blender are greatly appreciated!

best Regards Thomas

Moved the topic here as it is not really suitable for Showcase/Collaboration, but more a request for help.

There's a ready-made D20 that you could grab: https://www.blendswap.com/blends/view/71310
