Fonts: Press Start 2P

Searching for open source fonts to use in games, I find Press Start 2P.

This font is interesting for two reasons:
1) It uses the Open Font license (an open source license specifically designed for fonts)
2) Fits with the style of 2D shoot'em ups and retrogames in general

Does anyone know more open source fonts that can be interesting for F/oss game developing?

More open fonts: http://freegamedev.net/wiki/Art_asset_resources#Fonts

I always end up using the google font database. All appear to be OFL licensed.

IMHO, this font looks better white on black than black on white.

OpenGameArt has some bitmap fonts, althought i'm not quite sure, if that is an up-to-date solution for normal text.
Then again, a font section on named platform would be nice.

I usually take fonts from the Open Font Library - some are not interesting for most videogames, but some are really nice (check out, for instance, this one and this one, that I used in my game). The League of Moveable Type also has very nicely designed fonts, even if they're not many and they don't realease new ones often.

Oh, and I too used Press Start 2P in a videogame! That's simply perfect for retro-styled games...

Thank you all for your responses.

Certainly OFL has some interesting fonts (I liked Rase GPL, Banana Brick, Lavoir, Airbone, Hobby of night and more).

Hey, Orbitron font looks really nice for futurist or tech-themed games :)
