Indigogo for open-sourceing game assets

Pretty nice stuff, that could be useful for quite a few FOSS games. And 500$ (of which 150$ are already right now pledged) seems like a bargain.

Still trying to figure out what he means with "open-sourcing" exactly, but I guess it will be some creative commons license.

Edit: CC0 it seems! I guess I will have to register at indigogo then ;)

The first goal was reached quickly and the main set of files released already (since it is a flxible funding campain on indigogo). He also very recently added a nice 3rd person view player character (re-download the file) and added some really nice stretch-goals.

In an updated a preview picture for an enemy model that would be liberated as part of the hopefully soon to be reached stretch goal was also posted today:
