I've just had a look at the Bunnycrusher (in an editor) and it looks worse than I've expected...
for your all amusement:

60.068 vertex
58.053 quads

That make mere 116.106 (one-hundred-thousand and sixteen-thousand, one hundred and six) triangles.

Bunnycrusher!


However this model is suited to automatic triangle reduction which can arrive at about 3000 triangles:

I'd rather contact them and either ask for any CC license and/or invite them to OGA where they could have a link to their turbosquid portfolio when providing a CC'ed model.

It is CC licensed (CC-BY). Anyway I updated the links in the OP since BlendSwap has obviously had a shake up since I posted this topic.
